A short phrase within an interaction can build connection, or create a divide. 

I am establishing the space where these words linger. They have a nondescript location, being illuminated by sunlight or floating toward the surface of water. The result of these words being spoken or internally thought can lead to an increase in tension, or initiate a moment of reflection. I imagine these phrases taking up space in our lived experience. They may be slightly inconspicuous, but if noticed could influence the actions of the person knee deep in a communication breakdown.

The physicality of the letterforms comes in and out of focus as the simplicity of a single word can repeat in the mind with glaring precision, become misunderstood, or entirely dissolve and become forgotten.
